Hepburn Shire Council is seeking a Team Leader Aquatics to support the day-to-day operations of our seasonal outdoor pools.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee aquatic staff, ensure facilities operate safely and efficiently, and help create positive experiences for residents and visitors throughout the summer season.Position DetailsSeasonal Fixed Term, Part Time (0.53 FTE)Band 5: $***** - $***** per hour, plus superannuationAnticipated roster pattern: Sunday to WednesdayLocation: Pools across Hepburn ShireReports to the Aquatics OfficerAbout UsHepburn Shire Council is a small rural council located 90 kilometres from Melbourne, serving the communities of Daylesford, Creswick, Clunes and Trentham.
Join a supportive organisation where you can grow your career while making a genuine difference.How you'll make a differenceYou'll support our community by:Leading and supporting rostered aquatic team members.Overseeing the day-to-day operation of Council's aquatic facilities.Conducting water testing, risk assessments and operational inspections.Coordinating maintenance activities and liaising with contractors as required.Ensuring compliance with industry standards, legislation and Council procedures.Supporting emergency response readiness and safe operating practices.Maintaining clean, safe and welcoming aquatic facilities.Delivering exceptional customer service to patrons and user groups.About youYou'll bring experience working in an aquatic facility, leisure centre or similar recreation environment,
