You'll work across a diverse portfolio of client files, so adaptability and strong attention to detail are essential.About the roleWorking under the direction of a CPA and registered BAS agent, you'll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple client files.
Hours are versatile and negotiable to suit the right candidate.
The role is Brisbane-based, fully remote, but we are only hiring Brisbane/Gold coast candidates.What you'll be doingBank reconciliations across multiple entitiesProcessing accounts payable and receivablePayroll processing draft for reviewCreating and posting general journals (basic)Maintaining accurate records across client files in Xero, MYOB AccountRightBuilding and maintaining Excel workbooks for reporting, reconciliation,
and analysisKnowledge of GST Bookkeeping practicesIntermediate skills in Microsoft ExcelHonest work ethicAt least 1-3 years' experience in Xero and MYOBFully remote with work laptop and accessories providedThe ideal candidate will be able to commit to casual work hours of 10 hours per week, with primary availability being preferred for Monday and Tuesday mornings.
The role at times may also scale to require up to 20 hours per week during busy periods.We are looking for a long-term member of our team, based within 100km's of South Brisbane as initial training may require 1 or 2 visits to our main office.
All work after that can be done remotely.The role will come with a 3-month probationary period.
