Job DescriptionAs a personal care worker with Partner in Care Disability Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our clients in the Townsville area.
This is a casual position, offering flexibility to fit around your lifestyle.
You will be responsible for assisting clients with a range of day‐to‐day activities, supporting their independence and overall wellbeing.What you'll be doing1.
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing2.
Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive a nutritious diet3.
Support clients with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and light housekeeping4.
Engage clients in social and recreational activities to improve their quality of life5.
Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, and report any concerns to the appropriate team6.

Previous experience in a similar personal care or support worker role, preferably in the aged care or disability sector2.
A minimum of 1 year previous personal care experience is required3.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients4.
A caring, patient, and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others5.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team6.
A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent7.
A current First Aid/CPR certificate and a valid driver's licence8.
A full car licence is required for this position9.
Current NDIS worker screening card10.
Current Working with Children Card11.
Able to drive participant transport van.
