The role involves transporting earthmoving equipment safely and efficiently to customer sites, branches, and project locations.Please note: Machinery operators should only apply if they have heavy haulage experience and hold a HC class driver's license.Duties of the Position:Transportation of oversized loads to customer sitesCompetently carry out all relevant pre-start checks prior to transportationEnsure all loads are secure prior to and during transportationMeet all safety criteria ensuring safety of self and othersCarry out maintenance on both truck and equipment where necessaryCustomer focused with a proactive approach and willingness tobe a team playerCapable of loading and unloading equipment independentlyLocal deliveries to site - driving based mainly on highways and interstateMust possess a HC Driver's LicensePractice & perform to OH&S; standardsHeavy haulage experienceQuad and Dolly experience preferredCompetent in performing routine maintenance on machines2+ years' experience in transportation of oversized loadsBe able to pass a Medical including a Drug & Alcohol testWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly rate with penalties.A supportive and inclusive working environment.Brooks Hire is an equal prospect employer, committed to diversity and fostering an inclusive workplace for all employees.
