Due to increasing demand, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator/Supervisor to join their high-performing team in Rockhampton.The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to take on a dual Estimator/Supervisor role where you'll be responsible for assessing property damage, estimating repair costs, and supervising trades to ensure timely, high-quality restorations.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Conducting building insurance assessments and preparing detailed reportsSupervising building reinstatement worksEngaging, coordinating,



and managing trades throughout the restoration processMonitoring job progress and resolving issues as they ariseLiaising with insurance companies and insured partiesOrganising property access with insured clientsManaging disputes and delivering timely resolutionsEnsuring all works comply with OH&S; requirements and contractual obligationsCoordinating inspections and sign-offs from building surveyorsThe CandidateTo be successful in this role, you'll ideally bring:A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervising rolePrevious experience in insurance building (highly desirable but not essential)Trade qualifications in building (carpentry preferred) or a related fieldQBCC Supervisors License or equivalent (mandatory)Strong organisational and time management skillsSolid computer literacyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyGood knowledge of OHS legislation and industry regulationsFamiliarity with current market rates and trade practicesThe ability to provide accurate estimates independentlyA current and valid driver's licenseThe BenefitsCompetitive salary packageSupportive team environmentOngoing training and professional developmentCareer growth opportunities within a reputable company
