Power Boar is seeking Electricians — Service, Fit‐Out & Construction to join our dynamic electrical company based in Brisbane and across South‐East QLD.
These are full‐time positions playing a crucial role in delivering high‐quality electrical services across our service, fit‐out and construction divisions.
Whether you're maintaining and enhancing existing installations or wiring recent builds and tenant fit‐outs from the ground up, you'll be at the forefront of our operations — ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
These roles are essential to Power Boar's reputation for reliability and excellence in the electrical contracting industry.Key ResponsibilitiesService & Minor WorksConduct routine maintenance and servicing of electrical systems, equipment and installations at customer premisesPerform minor electrical works including socket installations, light fitting replacements, switch upgrades and general rewiring tasksDiagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs in a timely and efficient mannerProvide professional advice to customers regarding their electrical needs and recommend solutionsFit‐Out & ConstructionInstall and commission electrical systems in new builds, refurbishments and tenant fit‐outs — including power, lighting, data and fire detection rough‐inRead and interpret electrical drawings, single‐line diagrams and specificationsCoordinate with other trades (mechanical, hydraulic, fire) to deliver projects on programmeInstall distribution boards, submains,



cable containment and final circuits in commercial and industrial environmentsConduct progressive and final testing in accordance with AS/NZS **** and project specificationsAcross All RolesTest electrical installations and systems to ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulationsMaintain accurate records of all work completed, including job reports, test sheets and customer sign‐offsEnsure all work areas are kept clean and safe, adhering to WHS guidelinesCommunicate effectively with customers, site supervisors and project managersComply with all relevant legislation, including the Wiring Rules (AS/NZS ****), the National Electrical Code of Practice and state‐based electrical regulationsWhat We're Looking ForCurrent Electrical Licence (Provisional or Unrestricted) recognised in QueenslandFirst Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)Construction Induction Card (White Card)Demonstrated experience in one or more of: domestic/light commercial service work, commercial fit‐out, or new construction electricalAbility to read and work from electrical drawings and specificationsStrong knowledge of electrical safety practices and AS/NZS ****Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic toolsExcellent communication skills — whether dealing with customers on service calls or coordinating with trades on a construction siteA valid driver's licence and reliable transportPhysical fitness to perform manual tasks and work at varying heightsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipProblem‐solving skills and the ability to work under pressureEWP (Elevating Work Platform) ticket — desirableExperience with Clipsal C‐Bus,
