Venu Plus Management is looking for a creative, organised and hands‐on Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team.Based in Upper Mount Gravatt, this casual role is ideal for someone who loves creating engaging content, understands what performs on social media and is comfortable getting out into venues to capture the action.Working across a diverse portfolio of hospitality brands, you'll be responsible for bringing our venues to life online - from filming food, drinks and events to planning content calendars, managing daily social activity and helping grow our audiences.This is a varied role combining content creation, social media management, community engagement and marketing coordination - with genuine potential to grow into a full‐time position.What you'll be doingYour week will include a mix of on-site content creation, social media management and time working with our marketing team.
Key responsibilities include:Creating, curating and scheduling engaging content across our hospitality brands, including Beach House Bar & Grill, Casa Cibo Italian, Madame Wu and Chu the PhatVisiting venues on a set weekly content schedule to photograph and film food, drinks, specials, new menu items, events and venue activityEditing photos and video footage into polished, engaging content for Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platformsPlanning and maintaining content calendars across multiple brands and accountsWriting engaging, on‐brand captions and scheduling social media contentCreating and posting daily Stories featuring specials, promotions, events, bookings and general venue contentDeveloping and implementing social media campaigns aligned with broader marketing objectives and individual brand guidelinesCoordinating influencer and content creator partnerships, including outreach, scheduling, venue liaison and content follow‐upMonitoring social media channels and responding to comments and messages in a timely,
qualified and on‐brand mannerTracking key social media metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth and content performance, and providing regular reportingLiaising directly with venue managers to identify upcoming events, promotions, specials and content opportunitiesCollaborating with the wider marketing team to maintain consistent messaging, visual identity and brand voiceKeeping across social media trends, platform updates, trending audio and emerging content formatsCreating simple graphics and visual assets for social media using Canva and/or Adobe Creative SuiteIdentifying new content ideas and opportunities to increase engagement and grow our online communitiesAssisting with light marketing administration one day per week in the officeWhat we're looking forWe're looking for someone who is creative and confident behind the camera, but equally organised when it comes to calendars, scheduling and managing multiple accounts.Ideally, you'll have:Previous experience in social media management, content creation or marketing coordinationStrong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and other major social platforms, including current algorithms, formats and best practicesConfidence photographing and filming food, drinks, people, events and hospitality environmentsVideo editing skills and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging Reels, Stories and short‐form contentExcellent written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice across different brandsA creative eye and the ability to generate fresh,
engaging content ideasStrong organisational and time‐management skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneouslyExperience using social media scheduling and management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social or similarWorking knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to use performance data to improve future contentBasic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative SuiteAn understanding of influencer and creator marketingA strong awareness of current social media trends, platform changes and emerging featuresThe confidence to work independently in venues while also collaborating closely with our marketing and venue teamsA current driver's licence and ability to travel between our venuesA qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field is desirable, but practical experience and a strong portfolio are equally valuedExperience creating content for hospitality, food, beverage, entertainment or lifestyle brands would be highly regarded.What 's on offerCompetitive casual rateGenuine opportunity for the position to grow into a full‐time roleSet weekly fuel allowance to assist with travel between venuesA varied role working across multiple hospitality brands, each with its own personality and audiencePlenty of opportunity to create content rather than spending every day behind a deskSupport from an established Marketing & Communications teamAbout usVenu Plus Management operates a diverse portfolio of hospitality venues and brands across Queensland.Our marketing team works across restaurants, bars and entertainment venues, creating campaigns and experiences designed to drive visitation, build strong brands and keep our audiences engaged.With multiple brands, venues, events and promotions happening throughout the year, no two weeks are quite the same.
