ensuring they have access to reliable technical support and consistently high levels of service.The company offers an excellent culture focused on safety and continuous development, with genuine opportunities for employees to progress their careers while earning an exceptional salary.The PositionThis is an opportunity for an experienced Tower Crane Technician to join a leading crane OEM servicing self-erecting and top-slewing tower cranes, including luffing-jib, hammerhead and topless cranes.Responsibilities will include:Pre-delivery inspections and commissioning of new tower cranesSupporting crane erection & installationScheduled servicing and preventative maintenanceElectrical fault-finding, diagnostics and repairsWorking with variable-speed drives, PLCs, electronic control systems, safety circuits, limit switches, sensors and onboard diagnostic systemsBreakdown support at customer sitesProviding high-quality technical support and customer serviceCompleting service reports and relevant safety documentationThe company is open to candidates relocating from elsewhere in Australia or New Zealand.




Applications are also welcomed from experienced candidates who require employer sponsorship or are currently sponsored and seeking to transfer employers.Candidates must have relevant tower crane experience and hold an electrical qualification obtained in either Australia or New Zealand.The BenefitsExcellent hourly rate of $60-$70 per hourSuperannuation, fully maintained vehicle and overtimePredominantly Monday-to-Friday positionNo FIFO roster or regular work away from homeRelocation and sponsorship opportunities for suitable candidatesGenuine OEM training and technical supportHigh-quality machinery with an excellent industry reputationEstablished customer base with strong customer loyaltySupport from experienced technicians, product specialists and parts teamsGenuine career-development and progression opportunitiesThe CandidateThe successful candidate must be a qualified electrician with significant experience servicing and repairing tower cranes.You may currently work for a crane contractor, crane hire company, service agent, dealership or OEM; however, hands-on tower crane experience and strong electrical fault-finding capabilities are essential.You will also possess:An unrestricted (a Grade) electrical qualification obtained in Australia or Current ZealandExperience with servicing tower cranesKnowledge of variable-speed drives, PLCs, electronic controls, safety circuits, limit switches, sensors and diagnostic systemsExcellent electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skillsThe ability to work autonomously and manage your own workloadStrong customer-service and communication skillsA commitment to safe work practicesA current driver's licenceThis position requires someone who can confidently hit the ground running in a tower crane service environment.For a confidential discussion, contact Oliver at ROC Consulting on **************.
