Candidates must possess the required various technical skills, such as the ability to weld, and work with a variety of tools.We offer a competitive annual salary with a negotiable range based on your work experience for the right candidate.ABOUT THE ROLEPrimary duties will be to work in the workshop, fabricating, cleaning and rebuilding equipment.Your duties will include, however are not limited to, the following:Boiler making and testing upon completionReading and understanding of mechanical and workshop drawings/blueprintsCasting, cutting, shaping, assembling and welding steel to construct and repair metal products/structuresCompletion of jobs in a quick, effective and accurate manner with a high attention to detail,



consistently meeting deadlinesPerform general tool and equipment maintenanceMaintain a clean and organized work areaMeet quality standards, checking for defects at all stages of productionFlexibility to perform other duties within the manufacturing environment, alongside manual work, when requiredContinuous stock-taking and reporting to the supervisor on a daily basis; andEngage in staff pre-start, toolbox, and safety meetings; while closely following safety procedures and accident-preventative behavioursABOUT YOUTo be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience:Fully Qualified Boiler MakerAt least 3 years trade experienceExperience with Mild steel, Stainless and Aluminium, Mobile Plant, Industrial Machinery, welding, oxy cutting, assembly and of mechanical components; andAble to work in a team environmentCertifications beneficial but not mandatory include:Asbestos Awareness; andany High-Risk accreditation
