Action Pumps & Irrigation is seeking a Pump Repairs and Shop Hand to join our team in Leongatha, VIC.
This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
You will be responsible for assisting with pump repairs, maintenance, and providing essential support across our workshop and shop environment.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in delivering quality service to our customers.Key responsibilitiesAssist with the repair and maintenance of pumps and pump equipment following technical specificationsSupport onsite staff with plumbing and pipe worksPerform routine cleaning, testing and quality checks on repaired equipmentManage workshop organisation, keeping tools, equipment and work areas tidy and safeStock shelves and maintain inventory of parts and products in the shopAssist customers with product selection and provide basic technical adviceMaintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and time spent on jobsComply with all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environmentSupport the team with general administrative and operational tasks as requiredWhat we're looking forPhysical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularlyMechanical aptitude and genuine interest in pumps and pumping systemsAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyStrong organisational and time management skillsReliable,
