Located in Creswick, Victoria, between Ballarat and Daylesford, RACV Goldfields Resort is looking for an experienced, hands‐on and people‐focused Housekeeping Manager to lead a critical department that directly shapes first impressions, guest satisfaction and resort presentation.A day in the lifeAs Housekeeping Manager, you will take ownership of the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring rooms and public areas are presented to exceptional standards every day.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you will coach and inspire your team, drive productivity and service consistency, manage resources and budgets, and partner closely with Front Office, Maintenance and the wider resort leadership team to deliver seamless guest experiences.What you'll be doing:Leading, coaching, recognising and developing a large housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standardsTaking ownership of daily operations, guest room readiness, public area presentation, procedures and quality standardsDriving productivity, labour efficiency, cost control and continuous improvement while maintaining service qualityPlanning rosters, workforce coverage and training to match occupancy, business needs and team capabilityManaging equipment, chemicals, linen, lost property, keys, radios, stock control and PAR levelsBuilding strong working relationships with Front Office,



Maintenance and other resort departments to resolve guest and operational priorities quicklyEmbedding a robust safety culture by ensuring compliance with health, safety, wellbeing, chemical handling and manual‐handling requirementsResponding to guest feedback with care, professionalism and a solutions‐focused approachSupporting budget planning, forecasting, purchasing and cost management for the departmentWhat you'll bring:Proven experience leading a housekeeping operation within a hotel, resort, accommodation or similarly fast‐paced environmentA strong, visible leadership style with the ability to inspire, engage and hold teams accountableExcellent communication skills and the confidence to partner with department leaders, suppliers and stakeholdersA genuine passion for guest experience, team culture and maintaining exceptional presentation standardsStrong operational, planning, rostering, budgeting and organisational capabilityThe ability to prioritise competing demands, make sound decisions and remain calm in a busy resort environmentA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, smarter ways of working and service consistencySound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, including safe chemical use, manual handling and risk managementA team‐first attitude,



strong attention to detail and pride in delivering a polished, guest‐ready resort environmentHospitality, Tourism or related tertiary qualifications (desirable)First Aid certificationExperience within a multi‐outlet hospitality operation (desirable)Why join RACV?
