We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Educator to join our team.
This role will involve supporting educators across all rooms and covering staff breaks, while helping to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children from birth to school age.The successful applicant will have experience working with children aged 0-school age, be confident adapting to different age groups and environments, and demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.Key responsibilitiesCover staff breaks across all rooms as requiredSupport educators with the daily care, supervision and education of childrenBuild positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleaguesAssist with routines including meals, sleep, nappy changing, toileting and transitionsHelp implement engaging play-based learning experiencesMaintain a secure,



clean and welcoming environmentFollow all centre policies, procedures and relevant health and safety requirementsWork collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive teamThe successful applicant will haveExperience working with children from birth to school ageA warm, caring and positive approachThe ability to confidently work across different rooms and age groupsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFlexibility, reliability and a willingness to support the team where neededAn understanding of children's wellbeing, learning and developmentA current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for NSWA Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or currently enrolled and studying towards this qualification
