Due to continued growth and upcoming project demands, we are seeking experienced Data Technicians to join our team for ongoing work on major data centre projects across Melbourne.About the RoleWorking on large-scale data centre construction and fit-out projects, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of structured cabling systems within critical infrastructure environments.
This is an excellent prospect to join a high-performing team on some of Melbourne's most significant data centre developments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation and termination of Cat6A and fibre optic cablingInstalling and dressing cables within trays, baskets, and containment systemsFibre patching, testing,



and troubleshootingRackand stack installationTesting and certification of cabling infrastructureReading and interpreting drawings and network layoutsMaintaining high standards of quality, safety, and documentationWorking within live and construction-stage data centre environmentsTo be successful in this role, you will haveProven experience working as a Data Technician/Data Cabling Technician in live data centre environmentsStrong structured cabling experience across copper and fibre networksExperience terminating and testing fibre optic and Cat6A cablingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsEssential RequirementsDemonstrated data centre project experienceData cabling registration/licence (ACMA)White CardCurrent driver's licence and reliable transportFull Australian working rightsPlease noteDue to project requirements, only candidates with demonstrated data centre experience as a Data Technician or Data Cabling Technician will be considered.
