We value people who bring initiative, expertise, and a desire to contribute to the success of a fast-evolving business.Role PurposeAs our business continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Procurement Officer to centrally manage, conduct and coordinate procurement activities across the Group.Reporting to the Group Manager Fleet, Property and Procurement, this role plays a critical part in delivering value-for-money outcomes, strong supplier governance, and safe, compliant procurement practices aligned with AVADA's SAFE values: Skillful, Reliable, Helpful and Professional.To be successful in this role, you'll have demonstrated experience in purchasing services, traffic equipment, hire equipment and utilities.
Applications from candidates with experience solely in IT procurement, warehousing purchasing are unlikely to meet the requirements of the position.Key AccountabilitiesAnalyse procurement spend and identify cost-saving and value improvement opportunitiesCoordinate and manage fleet, equipment, fuel, and corporate procurement activitiesEstablish and maintain contracts, preferred supplier arrangements, and pricing schedulesWork with HSEQ and Operations to source safe, compliant,
