We are looking for trustworthy individuals with integrity who will bring a positive can-do attitude to the position and to the team.The role includes but is not limited to:Read blueprints/instructions, examine, and understand surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessaryMake work preparation such as scaffolding, covering fixturesResponsible for mixing, matching, applying paint to various surfaces,



and completing touch-upsBe able to understand and complete works to specifications.Be able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.Proper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastageSelect paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness.
Able to carry out minor repairs as and when deemed necessaryUse different tools and brushes to apply paints with attention to details Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
Cleaning equipment and work areas Support other team members to ensure completion of projects are on-time and in accordance to specification.To be considered for this role, you must have the following:Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters)High Risk Licence for EWP and/or ForkliftTrade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs)HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and ForkliftDrivers Licence (MR or HR class)Ability to work well both independently and in a team environmentAbility to meet strict deadlinesStrong communication skillsKeen attention to detailSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliableMust have outstanding work ethicsSalary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
