With a strong pipeline of current and upcoming work, we are seeking experienced Carpenters, Formworkers, Steel Fixers, Skilled Labourers and other commercial construction professionals to join projects across the state.
Whether your background is in commercial builds, fit‐outs, refurbishments, concrete construction, civil projects or general site support, we want to hear from motivated tradespeople looking for their next opportunity.Your new roleYou will be working on a variety of commercial construction projects, ranging from new builds and refurbishments to fit‐outs and civil construction works.
Duties may include:Commercial carpentry, fit‐out and refurbishment worksFormwork installation and strippingSteel fixing and reinforcement placementConcrete pouring,
finishing and repair workReading and interpreting plans and specificationsGeneral site duties and skilled labouring tasksAssisting site teams to meet project deadlinesMaintaining high safety and quality standards on siteWhat you'll need to succeedProven experience within commercial constructionRelevant trade qualification or demonstrated industry experienceCurrent White CardDriver's licence and reliable transportOwn tools (where applicable)Strong work ethic and reliable attitudeAbility to pass a police check and drug & alcohol testingCommitment to workplace health and safetyAbility to work effectively within a team environmentWhat you'll get in returnThrough Hays, you'll have the opportunity to work with some of Tasmania's leading commercial construction companies on a variety of projects.
