Your New Company/Role:As a well established organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant (with excellent exposure across the accounts payable function) to join their team on a permanent full time basis.
The role is to be based in their Western Sydney office.
Onsite parking is provided.About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:Reporting to a nurturing Finance Manager; you are responsible forProcess approximately 500 supplier invoices per month accurately and within required timeframes.Process weekly subcontractors payment after all the checks and approvals are doneMatch purchase orders, delivery dockets and documentation, and invoices, resolving discrepancies where required.Prepare supplier payment runs and respond to supplier account enquiries.Perform regular supplier statement reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.Assist with bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and other month-end accounting procedures.Support the finance team with general accounting, reporting, and administrative duties.Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit requirements.Liaise with project managers, site personnel, suppliers,
