The result is better productivity, delivering real savings by reducing maintenance costs throughout Burdekin, Mackay, Mount Isa and the Hunter Valley.We are seeking highly experienced CNC MACHINISTS to join our team of professionals on full-time and permanent basis.Your duties will include but are not limited to:Ensure CNC machinery is in good working order before set upWork with both software and hardware, conduct tests and inspections of products, services and software systems, and repair faulty programs and machineryConduct all programming as required or instructedOperate all equipment ensuring that machinery is kept running to maximum efficiency and that all documentation is completed as required.Ensure most cost-efficient use of plate,



liaising with programmers where necessary.Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputationMark cut items clearly as per program sheet and store offcuts appropriately.Ensure drive rails are kept clean and free from damage.Notify Manager/Supervisor when consumable stock levels are at the specified re-order level.Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediatelyPerform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacementFollow safety standards at all timesTo be considered for this role, you must have:Trade Qualifications and +5 years relevant experienceExcellent level of experience in CNC Machine operation including profile cutting and drillingKnowledge and ability to read and follow engineering drawings and diagrammed instructionsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesValues precision and enforces quality standardsMulti-torch, plasma and oxy cutting experienceAble to work productively, largely unsupervisedWilling to operate new equipmentKnowledge and expertise with various steel and metalsReliable, self-motivated with a great work ethicA self-starter, with an ability to take directionOperate forklift (desired but not essential)A strong team playerSalary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
