Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionOur client TECH FINISHES TILING (QLD) PTY LTD located in the Gold Coast (but with work available all along the East Coast - from Northern QLD to south of Sydney!) are looking for qualified and experienced full time (38 hours per week) Wall and Floor Tilers!
Overview: You will be required to lay ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass tiles on external and internal walls and floors to a high standard to provide protective and decorative finishes for residential and commercial projects.Registration or licensing is not required.
Qualifications / Experience required: AQF Certificate III or higher OR equivalent with 2 years experience OR at least three years of relevant high level experience.examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out workpreparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive,



filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfacesspreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in positionusing tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipesensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spacedgrouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess groutapplying waterproofing systemsmay lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition depending on the job requirementsmay lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics depending on the job requirementsRemuneration on offer is between $79,423 to $120K p.a. plus super depending on experience.
