We are looking for an experienced Factory Leading Hand to support our Factory Foreman with the day-to-day running of our joinery manufacturing workshop.This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced cabinet maker who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position.
You will help coordinate the factory team, maintain production workflow and quality, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Those with minimal experience in Cabinet Making who are willing to learn and take on this role are also welcome to apply.
Training and support will be provided in-house.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Factory Foreman with daily factory operationsAssist with coordinating production and meeting deadlinesSupport and guide factory staff and apprenticesProvide hands-on assistance across the workshop when requiredAssist with training and mentoring junior team membersMonitor quality and identify production issues or defectsCheck completed work prior to dispatchHelp maintain a clean, organised and productive workshopEnsure tools, machinery and equipment are used safely and maintainedAssist with materials,
