Hushpak Engineering is seeking an experienced Accessory Fitter to join our team at our facility in Boolaroo, NSW ****.
This is a hands‐on position where you will be responsible for fitting and installing Automatic Grease Systems and other accessories to vehicles with precision and expertise.
As an Accessory Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality workmanship and professional service.
Your attention to detail and technical skill will directly contribute to maintaining Hushpak Engineering's reputation for excellence in the industry.What you'll be doingFitting and installing Automatic Grease Systems and other automotive accessories to vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standardsMeasuring, cutting and adapting materials to ensure proper fitment of accessoriesUsing hand and power tools safely and correctly to complete installation tasksInspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met and addressing any issues promptlyPreparing vehicles for accessory installation, including protective coverings where necessaryMaintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulationsCommunicating effectively with team members and customers regarding project progress and any complicationsTroubleshooting fitting issues and providing practical solutionsKeeping accurate records of work completed and materials usedWhat we're looking forProven experience as an Accessory Fitter or similar automotive fitting role within the trades industry.Must have experience installing Automatic Grease Systems on Trucks and Earthmoving Equipment.Experience with Window Tint would be an advantage.Strong knowledge of automotive accessories,
fitment techniques and industry best practicesProficiency with hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and installation manualsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipSound understanding of health and safety requirements in an automotive workshop environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a teamReliability, punctuality and a professional approach to workPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks throughout the working dayRelevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive fitting (preferred but not essential if experience is extensive)What we offerHushpak Engineering is committed to supporting our employees' professional development and wellbeing.
