Based on our global network, we create tailor‐made solutions to improve our clients' logistics processes.We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Export Operator to join our team based in our brand-new, purpose-built facility in Tullamarine.ResponsibilitiesEnsure Consol and Shipment is registered in CW1Ensure quotes are sent to the client in timely manner using CW1 and client rates entered correctly to enable auto rating and correct billing.Provide complete and necessary information to internal/external suppliers to arrange pick up with optimum efficiencyEnsure if Cargo is hazardous that systems and documents are completed correctly and all stakeholders are advised of the hazardous natureProvide customers with pick‐up and delivery information and ensure speedy response to clients' needs.Send booking confirmation to shipper/supplier where requiredEnsure all required documents are received from supplier and where required scanned into CW1Expedite export customs clearance and security formalities (where required) in line with local legislative requirementsConfirm uplift and initiates tracking/tracing of cargo and report to stakeholders of any missing/delayed cargoSolve problems, as quickly and efficiently as possible, while reporting any discrepancies and customer complaints with a view to preventing recurrenceLiaise with suppliers (agents, carriers, overseas agents) regarding any delays or issues.
