Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chefs, this position drives excellence in all aspects of food preparation and service, while contributing to the overall efficient operation of the kitchen.
The successful candidate will work with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure food quality and consistency throughout the venue, while meeting food safety and sanitation standards daily.
Key responsibilities
Food preparation in accordance with restaurant procedures and guidelinesFood services duties during the operational hours of the restaurant and any required function cateringMaintenance of kitchen and food service storage area cleanliness and organisationMinimising wastage through conscious food preparation methods and goods securityEnsuring efficient stock rotation to ensure food quality is maintainedEnforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchenAdhere to WHS policy and proceduresAny other duties as listed in the PD for the role, or as directed by Management
About you
Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) (Qualified Chef only)Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a kitchen roleA team player,
