This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical and pneumatic systems, contributing directly to the reliability and success of our operations and customer relationships.Key responsibilitiesDiagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults using technical knowledge and diagnostic toolsPerform routine maintenance and servicing on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdownsRepair and replace faulty components, parts and systems in accordance with manufacturer specificationsConduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficientlyDocument all service work completed, including time spent, parts used and findings in CRM systemLiaise with customers if needed to explain issues, repairs undertaken and provide advice on equipment careMaintain service workshop and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and organisedFollow health and safety procedures and comply with all relevant regulations and standardsAssist in training and mentoring where required in a technical aspect of BeA toolsWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a service technician or in a similar technical maintenance roleKnowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems,
diagnostics and repair techniquesProficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment and hand toolsExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailStrong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customersA valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as requiredPhysical fitness and ability to work in varied conditions and environmentsHigh standards of safety awareness and commitment to workplace compliancePreferred: experience with specific equipment types relevant to our industry or previous customer service experience, all industries and experience will be considered.About usBeA Australia Pty Ltd is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the trades and manufacturing sector.
