Working alongside our Environmental Advisors, you will support environmental monitoring, inspections and management activities to help maintain compliance across our operations.REPORTING TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL SUPERINTENDENT, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDEConducting environmental inspections across operational areasCompleting environmental monitoring and collecting accurate field dataUndertaking water and soil sampling, flow meter readings and rehabilitation monitoringSupporting weed control and fauna management activitiesMaintaining onsite landfill and bioremediation facilitiesAssisting with rehabilitation works,



including seed sowingSupporting flora and fauna surveys and weather station servicingAccurately recording and reporting environmental dataWorking collaboratively with Processing, Open Pit, Underground and other operational teamsCompleting general environmental duties as requiredTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVEPrevious experience working on a mine sitePrevious exposure to environmental monitoring or managementStrong communication and relationship-building skillsThe ability to work independently and confidently solve problemsSound Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelA solid commitment to safety and environmental complianceThe physical fitness to work outdoors in hot, dusty conditions and on uneven ground, including the ability to lift up to 20kg
