About the Opportunity
We're seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Echuca manufacturing site on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Supporting a workforce of 170+ employees, you'll partner with leaders across diverse functions and contribute to a wide range of people initiatives that impact the site.
Working closely with the site HR Manager and broader HR team,
this role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your HR capability, build solid stakeholder relationships and gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
What You'll Do
Manage employee queries relating to payroll, HR policies and proceduresManage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers and offboardingPartner with leaders and employees across the site to provide practical HR adviceSupport employee performance management and workplace investigationsSupport Enterprise Agreement negotiation activitiesSupport site change initiatives, communications and site projectsCollaborate with Payroll and specialist HR teamsMaintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring compliance with legislative and business requirementsIdentify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline3-5 years' experience in a HR, People & Culture or people leader roleExperience interpreting Awards and/or Enterprise AgreementsWorking knowledge of HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded)Exposure to payroll or timekeeping systems is advantageousStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA team-oriented, adaptable and relationship-focused approachA genuine commitment to safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement
