Maxwell Recruitment & Training isrecruiting an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client's growing workshop team in Rydalmere.This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with an industry-leading manufacturer, offering excellent hourly rates, consistent overtime and long-term career stability.About the RoleAssemble, service and repair hydraulic lifting equipment.Install and replace hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and hoses.Carry out mechanical fault finding and repairs.Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Perform preventative maintenance and component change-outs.About YouTo be successful,



you'll ideally have:Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate.Previous experience working on hydraulic equipment or hydraulic systems (highly regarded).
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.Ability to interpret engineering drawings.Commitment to workplace health and safety.Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
What's on OfferPermanent full time position.
$50–$55 per hour, depending on experience.Plenty of overtime available.Stable employment with a globally recognised company.Modern workshop with excellent facilities.
