As the business continues to grow, they are looking for someone who can take ownership of the stores operation while supporting the wider team.About the RoleThis is far more than a traditional Store Person position.You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day stores function while also helping improve inventory systems and supporting production across the workshop.
You'll work closely with tradespeople, assist with deliveries, maintain stock accuracy, and help keep projects moving.This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.Your responsibilities will include:Managing inventory, receivals and dispatchMaintaining stock accuracy and improving inventory systemsSupporting workshop trades with materials and componentsLoading,



unloading and operating forklifts safelyCompleting local deliveries when requiredAssisting across the workshop, yard and office as neededIdentifying opportunities to improve systems and workflowWe're looking for someone who:Has previous experience in a Stores or Warehouse role within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environmentIs highly organised and takes pride in maintaining an efficient stores operationCan work independently and confidently manage competing prioritiesIs proactive, solutions-focused and enjoys improving systemsWorks well within a small team where everyone contributesUnderstands the importance of supporting production and meeting deadlinesEssential RequirementsCurrent Forklift LicenceCurrent Manual Driver's LicenceStrong computer and inventory management skillsAbility to work in a physically active environmentDesirableHR Licence (or willingness to obtain)EWP TicketWhite CardWhy Apply?
