reporting defects and ensuring correct usageAssist with procurement of all mechanical equipment and spare parts as requiredTeamworkWork cooperatively with Fleet staff, other City work teams and contractors to minimise downtimeProvide advice and feedback on vehicle/plant condition and recommended replacement or disposalSupport apprentices or trainees where required, sharing technical knowledge and safe working practicesEssential RequirementsStrong knowledge of current mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.Demonstrated experience servicing and repairing light/heavy vehicles, plant and small equipment.Ability to diagnose faults, determine solutions and complete accurate service documentation.Strong commitment to safety, compliance and environmental standards.Essential Qualifications & LicensesCertificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent.Current HR-A class driver's licence.Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).Current Police Clearance."
