This role supports cardiac, general, and specialized nuclear medicine procedures in a fast‐paced clinical environment.
Position OverviewPermanent, full‐time opportunityPerform cardiac, general, and special nuclear medicine proceduresIndependently operate nuclear medicine imaging systems, including dynamic, planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CTPrepare, measure, and administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticalsCollaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure accurate, high‐quality imaging studiesMaintain compliance with state, NRC, DOT, and IEMA regulationsKey ResponsibilitiesReview and verify physician orders; communicate with providers to clarify exams as neededPerform patient consultations, verify medical history, medications, and allergiesExplain procedures clearly to patients and families to ensure understanding and cooperationPerform IV insertions and administer radiopharmaceuticals using sterile techniquePrepare and operate nuclear medicine scanners and associated computer systemsPerform daily, weekly, monthly,



and quarterly quality control checks on imaging and radiation equipmentMaintain accurate records for radioactive material receipt, usage, storage, and disposalTroubleshoot equipment issues and escalate concerns appropriatelyMonitor inventory levels and ensure proper stocking of suppliesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentServe as a point of contact for nuclear medicine–related questions from clinical staff and patientsRequirementsCompletion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology programARRT (N) or NMTCB certificationActive Illinois Nuclear Medicine license (IEMA)BLS certificationMinimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience (new graduates considered if licensed)Strong knowledge of radiation safety, isotope handling, and regulatory complianceExperience using EPIC EMR preferredAbility to work independently with strong organizational and critical‐thinking skillsSchedule & CompensationDay shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM40 hours per weekNo call requirementsSalary range: $***** – $*****/hour$20,000 sign‐on bonus (commitment details to be confirmed)Why This OpportunityThis role is ideal for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist seeking a stable,
