As a casual Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare delivery objectives, bringing your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to patient care whenever you are scheduled.What we're looking forCurrent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse, with unrestricted practice rightsStrong clinical knowledge and practical experience in general medical and/or surgical nursing settingsDemonstrated competence in patient assessment, observation and monitoring skillsProficiency in medication administration and adherence to therapeutic guidelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teamsA commitment to maintaining accurate and timely patient records in accordance with legislative and skilled standardsAbility to work independently and use professional judgement, whilst seeking guidance and support when requiredKnowledge of infection prevention and control practices, including current best practice standardsCurrent or willingness to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate and Working with Children Check as required by the employerFirst aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain this if not currently held)Flexibility and reliability for casual shift patterns, including potential for evening,
