About the role:
As a Level 2 Disability Support Worker, you will support participants living in our NDIS Supported Independent Living homes, assisting them to achieve their goals, maintain independence and live fulfilling lives.
Your responsibilities may include:




Supporting participants with daily living activities and routinesAssisting participants to develop independence and achieve their personal goalsSupporting participants with personal care, medication assistance and daily support needs (with training provided)Supporting community access, appointments and social activitiesAssisting with household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning and laundryUsing safe manual handling techniques when supporting participantsSupporting participants with complex and/or challenging needsMonitoring participant wellbeing and reporting changes or concernsCompleting accurate progress notes and shift documentation
About you:
We are looking for someone who is:
Caring, compassionate and respectfulReliable and dependablePassionate about supporting people living with disabilityWilling to learn and develop recent skillsAble to build positive relationships with participants, families and team membersA solid communicator with good written and verbal communication skillsComfortable using technology such as mobile apps for rosters and documentation
