We're looking for a qualified, experienced and motivated Security Technician/Cabler to join our team.
Immediate work is available for the right candidate, with exciting new projects underway across commercial and residential MDU building sites.Working alongside our Project Manager, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality CCTV, security, access control, intercom and structured cabling installations, while also assisting with optical fibre cabling and associated devices.If you take pride in your workmanship, have great attention to detail and are the type of person who gets the job done right the first time — we want to hear from you!
THE ROLEYou will be responsible for installing, terminating and commissioning a range of security and communications systems, including:CCTV and security camera systemsAlarm systemsAccess Control systemsIntercom systemsCat6 / Structured CablingOptical Fibre Cabling and devicesRunning cables through conduits, cable tray and other pathwaysWorking on new Commercial & Residential MDU construction sitesWorking independently and as part of a professional teamEnsuring all installations meet a high standard of quality,
safety and workmanshipCompleting projects efficiently and within scheduled timeframesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORThe successful candidate will have:Construction Industry White CardACMA Licence with Structured Cabling and Fibre endorsementsCurrent Driver's LicenceAsbestos Awareness CardMinimum 2 years' experience in the construction industryProven experience installing CCTV, Alarm, Access Control and Intercom systemsExperience running cables in conduits and cable trayOptical Fibre Cabling experience — preferableExcellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skillsA commitment to delivering work to the highest standard of workmanshipReliability, punctuality and a strong work ethicAbility to work to schedules and complete projects on timeTravel may be required - Flexibilty with hoursDESIRABLE — BUT NOT ESSENTIALSecurity LicenceEWP LicenceWorking at Heights certificationWHY JOIN US?
