Machine Operator - Join Our High-Performance Production Team
Are you an experienced Machine Setter looking for your next opportunity in a quick-paced manufacturing environment?
We're seeking a skilled and proactive Machine Operator to join our production team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring machinery is set up and operating at peak performance to meet monthly production targets.
You'll play a vital part in maintaining safety standards and driving equipment efficiency across the site.
Location: Please note this role is based at our site in Swadlincote Address: Swainspark Industrial Estate, Park Road, Swadlincote DE12 6JT
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts - 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate automated machinery in line with production requirementsDiagnose and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtimeProduce high-quality cementitious products to customer specificationsComplete daily machinery checks and maintain accurate documentationManage machine-specific maintenance schedules and performance reportingSupport mobile fitting teams with fault diagnosis and planned maintenanceOversee inventory of critical spares and ensure on-shelf availability
What We're Looking For




Previous experience in a similar machine setting or maintenance roleStrong mechanical knowledge within a production or manufacturing settingA results-driven approach with attention to quality and detailAbility to meet production targets and adhere to Health & Safety regulationsA collaborative team player with strong communication skills
