This role plays a key part in protecting public health, supporting environmental outcomes and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering reliable services to the community.What your day will look like:Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants and pumping stationsMonitor and control treatment processes and plant performanceRespond to alarms and operational issues via SCADA and telemetry systemsCollect samples, undertake testing and maintain accurate operational recordsAssist with chemical handling, dosing and storage in line with WHS requirementsParticipate in on‐call and weekend rosters if requiredWhat you'll need for success:Certificate III in Water Operations (Wastewater Treatment) or ability to obtain within 24 monthsCurrent Class C or CA driver licence (QLD)General Construction Induction (White Card)Experience assisting with wastewater treatment or pumping station operationsAbility to follow procedures,
