They are a person first — with their own story, goals, choices, personality and way of doing things.We're looking for Female Disability Support Workers who understand the difference that genuine connection can make.People who bring experience but also bring empathy.People who know when to step in — and when to step back.People who listen.People who notice the little things.People who celebrate the big things.People who genuinely care.ABOUT THE ROLENo two people are the same, which means no two days in support are the same.As a Disability Support Worker with Care That Matters, you'll work alongside the people we support to help them live as independently, confidently and meaningfully as possible.Depending on the individual, your role may include:Supporting everyday routines and personal careBuilding independence and developing life skillsSupporting community access and participationAttending appointments, activities and social eventsAssisting with household tasks and everyday living, including ILOSupporting personal goals and individual plansEncouraging confidence, choice and independenceSupporting people to make their own decisionsProviding calm, respectful support during challenging momentsBut the role is about much more than completing a list of tasks.You'll be there to listen, encourage,



empower and walk alongside someone.WHAT YOU'LL BRINGWe're looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, respectful and genuinely passionate about supporting people to live life on their own terms.You'll ideally have previous experience in disability support and understand the importance of person-centred practice, dignity of risk, choice and control, and maintaining qualified boundaries.You'll also need:Current Australian Driver's LicenceReliable vehicle with comprehensive insuranceCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Clearance — NO CARD / NO STARTCurrent Blue Card, where required — NO CARD / NO STARTCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateCompletion of the NDIS Worker Orientation ModuleWorking rights in AustraliaAbility to meet all relevant employment, NDIS and organisational compliance requirementsA Certificate III in Individual Support or a related qualification is desirable.But qualifications are only part of what makes a great Support Worker.We're interested in the person behind the résumé.
