We are seeking an Animal Attendant to support the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) team in the day-to-day care, rehabilitation and promotion of greyhounds.
Working closely with the GAP team,
you will assist with walking and exercising greyhounds, monitoring their wellbeing, maintaining accurate records, supporting foster and adoption activities, and attending community events to showcase greyhounds looking for their forever homes.QualificationsAbout youUnderstanding of greyhounds and knowledge of the racing industry is desirableUnderstanding of greyhoundsExperience in a kennel environmentKnowledge and understanding of greyhound racing industry beneficial to assist organisational requirementsAbility to develop, maintain and update social mediaExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in the execution of workWell-developed computer literacy skills within the Microsoft Office/Windows EnvironmentDemonstrated ability to deliver outcomes on timeDeveloped computer literacy skills within the Microsoft Office/Windows environmentAdditional InformationPlease note this role is only open to applicants that hold Australian Working Rights, and we do not offer Work Sponsorship Visa's.At Racing and Wagering WA, we recognise that we are strengthened by diversity of gender, thought, experience, and ethnicity.
