APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced Road Worker to join a local government team based at the Murrurundi Depot.Location: Murrurundi DepotPay Rate: $***** per hour + SuperStart: ASAP, pending checksDuration: 3 months, with possibility of extensionHours: 9-day fortnight | Monday RDOWhat you will be doing:General roadwork and labouring dutiesAssisting with road maintenance and construction activitiesOperating small plant equipment as requiredResponding to incidents and call-outs as part of a rosterWorking safely as part of a teamOccasional travel for natural disaster response worksMay occasionally involve working away for a specific event on a 9-day fortnight, then returning home for 3 daysRequirements:Previous labouring experienceConstruction White Card – essentialTraffic Control ticket – highly regardedPrevious small plant operating experience – highly regardedAbility to work outdoors and undertake physical labourReliable and safety-focusedAbility to participate in a 9-day fortnight and call-out rosterMust be able to successfully complete abackground/police check
