Springfield Lakes Towing and Transport Pty Ltd – Darra QLDQueensland Heavy Transport is seeking experienced MC & HC Drivers / Tilt Tray Operators to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and managing articulated vehicles and tilt tray equipment, transporting goods across Queensland whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
This position is critical to our operations, as our drivers are the face of our company and directly impact customer satisfaction and business success.Key responsibilitiesOperate MC (Multi-Combination) and HC (Heavy Combination) vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all relevant legislation and company policiesOperate and manage tilt tray equipment to load, secure and transport vehicles and heavy goodsConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or defects immediatelyPlan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and customer requirementsMaintain accurate logbooks, delivery documentation and records in accordance with transport regulationsCommunicate professionally with customers, dispatch and management regarding job progress and any issuesAdhere strictly to weight limits, road regulations, fatigue management laws and company safety protocolsMaintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all timesPerform manual handling and securing of cargo safely and appropriatelyWhat we're looking forValid MC or HC driver's licence (Australian)



with a clean driving recordProven experience operating articulated vehicles and tilt tray equipment in a commercial transport environmentCurrent National Heavy Vehicle Driving Fatigue Logbook compliance and knowledge of relevant road transport legislationStrong understanding of vehicle safety checks, load securing requirements and weight distribution principlesExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience in the towing or heavy transport industry is highly valuedWhat we offerQueensland Heavy Transport is committed to providing a supportive and professional working environment.
