Encore Plumbing Services is seeking a dedicated Storeman/Driver to join our team in a part-time capacity.
Based in Prestons NSW ****, this role is essential to our operations, ensuring efficient management of our warehouse and reliable delivery of plumbing supplies to our customers and job sites.
You will play a crucial part in maintaining our inventory systems, organising stock, and transporting products safely and on time.
This position offers the flexibility of part-time work whilst contributing meaningfully to the smooth running of our distribution operations.Key responsibilitiesReceiving, unloading and checking incoming plumbing supplies and materials against delivery documentationOrganising and storing inventory in the warehouse using proper storage systems and maintaining accurate stock recordsPicking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet delivery schedulesOperating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and in accordance with company proceduresLoading vehicles with plumbing products, ensuring items are secured and organised for delivery routesDriving vehicles to deliver plumbing supplies to customers, job sites and branch locationsMaintaining accurate delivery records and obtaining customer signatures where requiredConducting routine vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues promptlyKeeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised, adhering to health and safety standardsAssisting with stock takes and inventory audits as requiredSupporting other team members to ensure warehouse operations run smoothlyWhat we're looking forA valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving recordPrevious experience in warehousing,
storage or distribution operationsExperience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification or willingness to obtain is essential)Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual and skilled approach to workGood communication and customer service skillsPhysical fitness and ability to lift and handle heavy items regularlyKnowledge of health and safety procedures in warehouse and transport environmentsFamiliarity with inventory management systems and stock control procedures (desirable)Experience in the plumbing or building supplies industry (advantageous)What we offerAt Encore Plumbing Services, we value our team members and provide a supportive working environment.
