Female Disability Support Worker - Part-TimeWe are looking for a female Disability Support Worker to provide personal care and support to a participant who uses a wheelchair full time.Tuesday: 2 hoursFriday: 8 hoursPotential for additional hours in the futureAbout the role:The successful applicant will be required to assist with:Manual handling and safe transfersShowering and personal hygieneChanging continence aids/nappiesFeeding and mealtime assistanceGetting dressed and other personal care tasksGeneral daily living supportEnsuring the participant's comfort, dignity and safetyAbout you:Female support worker preferredPrevious disability support experienceMust be confident and experienced with manual handlingExperience supporting someone who is fully wheelchair-dependentComfortable providing personal care, including showering and continence carePatient, caring, reliable and respectfulCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant checks/certificates preferredFirst Aid/CPR preferredThis role would suit someone who is compassionate, dependable and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
