Occupational Therapist | Adolescents, Adults & Life TransitionsOccupational Therapist | Adolescents, Adults & Life TransitionsFamily Allied Health | Therapy Kitchen – Ascot ValeFull-time or Part-time | HPSS Level 1–3About the RoleFamily Allied Health is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy Kitchen team in Ascot Vale.This position is open to clinicians across HPSS Levels 1–3, from early-career OTs through to experienced clinicians looking for greater autonomy and the opportunity to develop an area of clinical interest.We have a particular interest in supporting people throughperiods of transition; adolescence into adulthood, school into further education or employment, increasing independence, changing support needs, and transition from paediatric into adult services.We're looking for an OT who enjoys looking beyond a diagnosis to ask:What does this person want or need to do in everyday life, and how can we help them get there?
Your work will focus on function, capacity, participation and independence, with the prospect to shape your caseload around your experience and areas of clinical interest.Your CaseloadYour caseload may include adolescents, young adults and adults requiring support with:Transition from paediatric to adult servicesBuilding independence in activities of daily livingFunctional capacity and capacity buildingExecutive functioning, planning and organisationEstablishing routines and self-management skillsMeal preparation and independent living skillsSensory processing and emotional regulationMental health and its impact on everyday functionNeurodevelopmental conditions and disabilityEducation, employment and community participationFunctional changes associated with illness, injury or progressive disabilityNDIS-funded assessment and interventionBuilding confidence,
