This is a part-time position 3 days per week.
As a Sales Assistant, you will be delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within our retail environment.
Your role will be fundamental to creating a welcoming shopping experience and building lasting relationships with our customers.What you'll be doingGreeting customers warmly and identifying their furniture and bedding needsProviding knowledgeable product recommendations and guidance to customersProcessing sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale systemsAssisting with product displays and ensuring the showroom is clean, organised and visually appealingAnswering customer enquiries about product features, pricing and delivery optionsHandling customer concerns and complaints professionally and courteouslyMeeting sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the storeMaintaining knowledge of current promotions and product rangesWhat we're looking forPrevious retail or customer service experience is highly desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage with customersThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamBasic IT skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems (training provided if necessary)A keen interest in furniture and home furnishings is advantageousWhat we offerAt Pacific Furniture & Bedding, we value our employees and are committed to creating a supportive work environment.
