The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of forklift operationsResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently operate forklifts, including loading and unloading of materials and productsFollow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating forklifts and working in the docks areaCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operationsConduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or issuesAssist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forkliftQualificationsPossession of a valid Australian Forklift LicenceMinimum of 8 months experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or dock environmentAbility to provide a recent Nationally Coordinated Criminal History CheckExperience with rotating tynes is advantageous but not requiredCommitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplaceStrong attention to safety and ability to follow guidelines and proceduresExcellent communication and teamwork skills*Please note: only applicants meeting the above criteria and who possess Australian citizenship or unrestricted working rights will be considered for this role*The successful applicant will need to complete a Pre-employment Medical assessment, including Drug & Alcohol Screening & Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check prior to placement.
