While her disabilities are part of her life, they do not define who she is.
She enjoys a full life, values her independence and likes to make the most of every opportunity.The successful candidates will form a positive and supportive team, providing encouragement, supervision and assistance where required to help her maintain and develop her independence and confidence.
We are looking for someone with a flair for organised spontaneity who can support her to enjoy activities, access the community and embrace the good days to their fullest.A friendly, person-centred approach is essential.
First aid training, particularly relating to post-seizure care, and experience supporting people with epilepsy or cerebral palsy would be desirable.
Above all, we are seeking someone who is positive,
