This is precision painting - not production line work, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail.Whether you are an experienced Automotive Spray Painter looking for a new challenge or have experience in heavy vehicle, industrial or rail painting, we would like to hear from you.Roster OptionsWA Based: 3-week rotational roster between Henderson, WA and Canberra, ACT (travel provided)ACT Based: Full-time position based in CanberraKey Responsibilities:Prepare rail components, carriages, structures and equipment for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, filling and masking surfacesCarry out detailed surface preparation, including panel repairs, filler application, feather edging and block sanding, ensuring coatings meet the highest standards of adhesion, durability and finish qualityCarry out precision masking, colour matching and blending while mixing and applying epoxy primers, high-build primers, 2K polyurethane and rail-approved protective coating systems to achieve premium-quality finishesApply paint finishes to rail rolling stock, fabricated components and industrial structures in accordance with project specificationsProduce and assess high-quality paint finishes,
