Operated by Kingmot Pty Ltd, the hotel provides accommodation, restaurant, bar and guest-service facilities for visitors to the Port Arthur region.We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to plan, organise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure high standards of guest service, operational efficiency, staff performance and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, organise and oversee daily hotel and accommodation operationsManage reservations, room allocations, reception and guest-service standardsCoordinate housekeeping requirements and accommodation presentationOversee food and beverage operations and service deliveryRecruit, induct, roster, train and supervise staffMonitor staff performance and operational service standardsManage guest enquiries, complaints, feedback and service issuesMonitor budgets, operating expenditure, stock control and purchasingManage supplier relationships and routine procurement requirementsPrepare and maintain operational reports, business records and financial administrationCoordinate property maintenance, presentation and security requirementsEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety, responsible-service, licensing and company requirementsImplement and review operational procedures to improve efficiency,



service quality and guest satisfactionSkills and ExperienceMinimum 2 years of relevant hotel, motel, resort or accommodation management experienceDemonstrated experience managing accommodation and hospitality operationsStrong leadership, staff supervision and organisational skillsExperience with reservations, guest services, rostering, purchasing and operational administrationStrong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skillsAbility to manage competing operational priorities in a busy hospitality environmentRelevant qualification in hospitality, hotel management, business management or a related field is desirableRemunerationCash Salary: $80,000 per annum plus statutory superannuation.Accommodation: Rent-free furnished accommodation is provided on-site at The Fox & Hounds Historic Hotel as an additional employment benefit.
