Working closely with local stakeholders and senior management in both Australia and Japan, you will provide office administration, coordination, communication, and translation support while helping to build a strong foundation for future growth.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, is highly organised, and thrives in a dynamic and entrepreneurial workplace.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily office administration and support office operationsAct as a key liaison between Australian stakeholders and the Japanese head officeProvide Japanese-English translation and interpretation support for meetings and business communicationsCoordinate with external service providers including accounting firms, legal firms, banks, and other business partnersPrepare meeting agendas, take minutes,
and follow up on action itemsCollect, organise, and report information from local subsidiary businessesAssist with document preparation, reporting, presentations, and correspondenceSupport executives with scheduling, travel arrangements, and general administrative tasksAssist with office setup and operational processes as the Australian business continues to growProvide ad-hoc support across business operations as requiredYour ProfileJapanese and English language skills are must.
We welcome applications from both native Japanese speakers and native English speakers with advanced Japanese language ability.Previous experience in Office Administration, Office Management, Executive Assistant, Team Coordinator, or similar rolesStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across culturesComfortable working in both Australian and Japanese business environmentsHighly organised with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyExperience preparing reports, meeting minutes, and business documentationAccounting, bookkeeping, HR, or business administration experience will be advantageous but is not essentialFlexible, proactive, and willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities in a growing organisation
