Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert13 Aug ****Business Operations Administrator – 6 month Fixed Term Contract - South Metro DepotThis position is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of generalist operational business support and administrative office services and activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing information to meet business and legislative requirements.This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway.
Spanning across 120,000 square meters.
With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.Your Role in ActionSupport the area in delivery of projects and planned work by undertaking administrative tasks including issuing of drawings, printing drawings, management of as-constructed drawingsPerform document and file management for section, including but not limited to scanning and archivingCreate electronic work packs where necessarySupport the Function in delivery of projects by undertaking document and drawing control administrative tasks including issuing of drawings, printing drawings, management of as-constructed drawings, scanning and archivingDevelop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders to support the successful delivery of projectsAssist and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiativesSupport the Function in delivery of projects by undertaking general and confidential administrative tasks by maintaining the accuracy of filing systems, including data entry in Ellipse and Salesforce, and appropriate archivingProvides financial administrative support through raising customer invoices, purchase requisitions, payments of invoices in Ellipse etc. while ensuring relevant cost codes are utilised.What Makes You a Great FitCompleted Year 12 (or equivalent)
with English and Mathematics and / or demonstrated general administration experienceDemonstrated experience in providing administrative office and or operational support services with knowledge of principles and practices of basic office managementExperience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint softwareUnderstanding of administrative functions and office practicesAble to deliver high quality, professional, customer focused administrative servicesGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
