Indigeco is seeking a highly organised HSE Administrator to support the Health, Safety and Environment team on a major Battery Energy Storage System project based in Tomago, NSW.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Administrator, HSE Administrator, Project Administrator or Document Controller who enjoys working in a fast paced construction environment and wants to build further experience within health, safety and environmental project delivery.Working closely with the Project HSE Manager, construction personnel, subcontractors and project stakeholders, you will play an important role in keeping HSE documentation, inductions, compliance records and site administration accurate and up to date.The position can be considered on a full time or part time contractor basis, with a competitive day rate based on experience.Indigeco is seeking a highly organised HSE Administrator to support the Health, Safety and Setting team on a major Battery Energy Storage System project based in Tomago, NSW.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Administrator, HSE Administrator, Project Administrator or Document Controller who enjoys working in a fast paced construction environment and wants to build further experience within health, safety and environmental project delivery.Working closely with the Project HSE Manager, construction personnel, subcontractors and project stakeholders, you will play an important role in keeping HSE documentation, inductions, compliance records and site administration accurate and up to date.The position can be considered on a full time or part time contractor basis, with a competitive day rate based on experience.ABOUT THE ROLEAs HSE Administrator, you will provide day to day administrative, coordination and document control support to the project HSE team.You will help maintain accurate HSE records and compliance documentation, coordinate site inductions, support contractor onboarding and ensure key project information remains current and accessible.This is primarily a site based role in Tomago,
working within a dynamic construction environment with regular interaction across site personnel, subcontractors, visitors and project stakeholders.Occasional travel to other project offices or locations may also be required.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESProvide day to day administrative support to the project HSE teamManage requests and communications through the HSE mailboxMaintain HSE records, registers, databases and project documentationEnsure HSE documentation remains current, accurate and accessibleAssist with the preparation, formatting and distribution of HSE reports and documentationSupport document control in accordance with project requirementsCoordinate and schedule site inductionsVerify induction requirements have been completed prior to site accessMaintain induction, training and competency recordsAssist with verification of licences, qualifications and competenciesSupport subcontractor onboarding and mobilisation activitiesMaintain site attendance records, visitor registers and emergency contact informationMaintain plant and equipment records and contractor compliance documentationMaintain HSE information and compliance records within DonesafeSupport meeting coordination and prepare meeting minutes when requiredWork closely with the HSE Manager and wider project team to support a strong safety cultureWHAT YOU NEEDPrevious administration experience within construction, infrastructure, mining, industrial or another project based environmentCertificate III or IV in Business Administration or a similar qualificationStrong organisational and administrative skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong document control and record management capabilityConfident written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a busy site environmentIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to work collaboratively across different teams, contractors and stakeholdersConstruction White Card or ability to obtain oneAbility to work primarily on site in TomagoPrevious experience specifically within HSE administration is advantageous but is not essential for candidates with strong transferable project administration experience.Experience with electronic HSE management systems, document control or contractor compliance systems such as Donesafe will be highly regarded.A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or previous exposure to ISO ***** or ISO ***** management systems will also be advantageous.WHAT YOU GETCompetitive day rate equivalent to $45 to $70 per hour depending on experienceFull time or part time contractor opportunityOpportunity to work on a major renewable energy and BESS projectHands on exposure to HSE systems, compliance and project deliveryOpportunity to work closely with experienced HSE and construction professionalsExposure to contractor mobilisation, inductions, document control and complianceSite based role in TomagoExperience within a large scale and fast paced construction project environmentHOW TO APPLYIf you are an experienced HSE Administrator, Site Administrator, Project Administrator or Document Controller looking to build your experience on a major renewable energy project, we would like to hear from you.Apply today with an updated CV outlining your administration, document control, HSE or construction project experience.Indigeco welcomes applications from candidates from all backgrounds and strongly encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.Shortlisting will commence immediately, with suitable candidates contacted to progress through the recruitment process.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
